Letter from Udo, deacon of the Church of Cologne, Theodoricus prefect, Giselbertus, deacon, the convent of St. Andrew, Ivo deacon, and the convent of the Holy Apostles regarding a dispute between Seneguerus or Suenegerus of Worms and the canons of Saint-Saveur in Metz over the church of Appliseim or Applisim. The dispute is settled by the legate at Cologne. Three pairs of slits at foot of document through which remnant of two strips of parchment, presumably for seals, are threaded. The Register of the Archbishop of Cologne records a deacon Giselbert and prefect Theodoric in the diocese in 1200 and in 1220. "De [con]t[ro]uersia Seneguerj s[upe]r eccl[esi]a dApplisim" inscribed in ink by roughly contemporary hand on verso, several other notes in pencil and in red pencil by modern hands.
