Summary
Two legal forms that have been filled in from the commonwealth of Virginia. One is a summons issued by Spotsylvania County to the Sheriff that Richard Carlton appear before the County court to answer a bill in Chancery, witnessed by Robert S. Chew, clerk of the court. It is dated the 11th of August 1812. The other is a bond issued by George Bronaugh and [?] R. Magee to Robert S. Chew, trustee of James and Elizabeth French, in the sum of 814 dollars before May 24, 1815. It is dated the 24th of May 1813. Both have summaries of their contents, other notes, and traces of scotch tape on verso. Letters between the donor, Charles Frost, and Dean William Prosser in the Robbins files.
