Summary
Episcopal instrument issued by Ludovico Simoneta, then bishop of Pesaro with reference to letters to the papacy. Notarial sign at the foot of the document. Slightly damaged red wax seal in a wooden case attached to document by a cord. Staining, fading along top of document, and some soiling along the right margin with some obscuring of text; holes at lines 28-29 and 69-70. Note on verso, "175 Giorgi."
