The translation of the most recent amendments adopted at the Referendum of 9 December 2018 is based on the official Spanish text of Law Nos. 30904, 30905 and 30906, promulgated on 9 January 2019, as published in the Official Gazette, El Peruano, Year XXXVI, No. 14789, Legal Norms, of 10 January 2019: https://diarioficial.elperuano.pe [consulted January 2019]. These amendments concern Arts. 35, 90-A, 154, 155 and 156 of the Constitution of 1993. By the Final Complementary Provision of Law No. 30904, the denomination "National Council of the Magistrature" was consequentially amended to "National Junta of Justice" throughout the text of the Constitution and the national juridical order.
