Commentaries or lectures on the first and second books of the Institutiones compiled between May 5th and October 1st, 1704. There are two colophons, one for each book of the Institutiones, reading "Anno Domini 1704 die octauo settembris sub disciplina vtriusq; juris doctors Dominici Campanilis à me Sebastiano Melchioria Pontelato[n]e finis datus fuit huic ° libro" (76v) and "Anno Domini 1704 die primo Octobris sub disciplina vtriusq' juris doctoris Dominici Campanilis à me Sebastiano Melchiori à Pontelato[n]e finis datus fuit huic 2° libro finis coronatus opus." Notes in Italian by a contemporary hand on the end papers. Several leaves and quires are loose.

Decoration: Pen-and-ink drawing of a bell tower on leaf 5r, with mottos "De viri usq. in doctore" and "D[omi]no Dominico Campanile" with notes "[?] Seb. Melchiori" alongside and "Inceptu[m] in die 5. Mai 1704 sub disciplina V.J.D. D[omini]ci Campanile" in frame below. Origin: Written in northern Italy in 1704.
