Summary
John Langford's A Just and Cleere Refutation of a False and Scandalous Pamphlet, printed in London in 1655. In some copies, a note prefixed to this pamphlet indicated that Langford was one of Lord Baltimore's followers, and refuted Leonard Strong's Babylon's Fall in Maryland, and vigorously defended the proprietors' policy in the colony. Also attached was a "true Copy" of an English law entitled An Act concerning Religion," which insured religious freedom.
