Summary
October 6, 1863 Communication from Governor Joseph E. Brown of Georgia regarding a shipment of salt for Georgia by rail; the trains were seized by the Virginia Board of Public Works for use in supplying Virginia with salt. Governor Letcher of Virginia sent this communication to the General Assembly for resolution.
