Summary
Conference between Captain-General and Governor Jonathan Belcher of the Province of Massachusetts Bay and the Chief Sachems of some Indian Tribes, held at Falmouth in July 1732. Included at the conference were Evewakenk, chief sachem of the Penobscot tribe, Loron, one of the chief captains of the same tribe, Loxus, chief sachem of the Norridgewock tribe, Adiawando, chief sachem of the Pigwacket tribe, and Medaganesset, chief sachem of the Amerescoggin tribe.
