Description
1 online resource (2 unnumbered pages)
Summary
1698? Case for Lord Baltimore for treason in Ireland. He was outlawed for high treason for participating in a rebellion in Ireland; however he was later found to have been vindicated. This document sought to have the reversal granted through passage of an act, as he could not personally come to London due to poor health.
Note
Manuscript note on second page: "1689, Case ... the outlawry in Ireland of Charles 3rd Lord Baltimore", but text includes later date of "18th. of January 1691/2". There is also mention of "an Act lately pass'd in the Parliament of Ireland, to hinder the Reversal of several Out-lawry's and Attainders", which act was passed late in 1697.
