Tech companies in the Bay Area have struggled with perceptions that their workforces are steeped in cultural practices that perpetuate discrimination and hostile working environments for women and people of color, particularly in the most technical positions. This panel will explore the issues of workforce diversity, including the challenges to recruiting and retaining more women and people of color, and what it will take to create a more inclusive workforce and culture where women and people of color can thrive.
