1836 Resolutions from the Ohio legislature, transmitted to the House of Delegates by Virginia Governor Litt'n W. Tazewell. The resolution instructed its United States Senators and Representatives to prevent any future presidential election determined by the House of Representatives, or the vice president by the Senate.
