1844 New Hampshire resolutions against Rhode Island's unconstitutional treatment of Thomas Wilson Dorr in a trial for treason, as well as support of Texas against Mexico. These resolutions were transmitted to the Virginia General Assembly by Governor M'Dowell of Virginia, January 16, 1845.
