Summary
May 1774 Memorial against the Susquehanna claim by Connecticut, which was prepared after a meeting of the Committees of Twenty-three towns and presented to the General Assembly. Petitioners ask that the Susquehannah Company not be allowed to extend the jurisdiction of the colony of Connecticut to the lands west of the province of New York. Of note, various handwritten notes were in the margin of this petition and remonstrance.
