Summary
1757 letter from a gentleman in Philadelphia to a freeholder in the County of Northampton, which challenged the petition which claimed that the election of William Plumsted was illegal and thus he should not be seated a Representative of the county. The author claimed that the House resented Plumstead following his remonstrance of some of its actions.
