Summary
1722 Account written by Daniel Cox and printed in London. This treatise had a preface which indicated that it was comprised of various memoirs of the history and description of Carolina. Also included was an appendix containing an extract of King Charles I's charter to Robert Heath and historical review of the province, as well as other relevant information.
Note
The province of Carolana, claimed by the author as proprietor under a grant from King Charles I, included the territory extending from the Atlantic Ocean to New Mexico, between the 30th and 36th parallels of latitude.
