Presents for the guidance of the legislature data concerning the prevalence of disease in Natchez, particularly among transient river boatmen, and estimates of the cost of building and maintaining the hospital. The Natchez Hospital was established according to an act of the General Assembly of the territory, passed Jan. 18, 1805.
