Summary
July 25, 1722 Declaration by Governor Samuel Shute that the Eastern Indians were to be considered rebels, traitors and enemies of the King and all relations between citizens and Indians were forbidden. Provisions were also made for those who were still loyal to the Crown.

Proclaiming the rebellious Eastern Indians to be enemies of the Crown.
