Summary
1835 report of the Engineers of Maryland and Virginia upon the progress of the examination of the Sounds on the eastern shores of Virginia, Maryland and Delaware, submitted by the Governor Tazewell to the House of Delegates. Of note, the engineer for Virginia, Charles B. Shaw, expressed doubts as to the need to participate in the construction of the proposed canals.

Includes dissent from the general opinion by Chas. B. Shaw.
