Summary
Report of the Ohio Quartermaster General in response to a resolution of the Ohio Senate requesting "the number of rifles, muskets, swords, pistols and holsters; also, of all military articles or equipments, drawn for the use of this State, from the government of the United States; also, the manner in which they have been disposed of, giving the number of each description of arms, equipments and accoutrements appropriated and distributed to each division; also, a fair and accurate statement of the expenses of distribution, and expenses of his office, including his own compensation for each year, during the time he has filled said office, including all contingent expenses, and giving the items." Several tables provide the information. The report is signed by C. Niswanger, Quartermaster General of Ohio.
