Summary
Report to Robert P. Dunlap, Governor of Maine, regarding a trip to Quebec to negotiate a survey and possible aid for a railroad from Quebec to the Atlantic seaboard through the state of Maine. This trip was favorable for such a connection; of note, the two representatives did not suggest a final terminal on the seaboard, but left it to the state to determine. The report is signed by Albert Smith and P.H. Green. Included is a report signed by P. Yule, Captain Royal Engineers, 22d August, 1835, and certified by T.A. Young, Secretary to the Committee of Citizens.
