Summary
House Judiciary Committee submitted a bill to revise an 1825 Act on mills. A person whose mill-dam had overflowed and damaged another's land could pay money into the Court, as was done in contract cases. An injured party had two years to sue and the jury was not to consider any damage more than two years old.
