In Senate, January 27, 1826 : The Committee on Public Lands, since the recommitment of their report of the 20th instant, for the purpose of hearing the agent of the president and trustees of Bowdoin College; those interested in the petition of Benjamin Bussey and others, and the bondsmen of the late William Bingham, deceased, for relief relative to the settling duties on lands granted, or sold to them by this Commonwealth;--have attended to that service, and ask leave to report the following resolve, which is respectfully submitted, by order of the Committee, Thomas L. Winthrop, chairman.
