The document consists of copies of three letters addressed to North Carolina Governor Jonathan Worth: From H. McCulloch, Secretary of the Treasury, dated March 29th, 1866; from J.E. Hilgard, For the Superintendent, Office of U.S. Weights & Measures, dated March 30th, 1866; and from A.D. Bacher, Superintendent of Weights and Measures, which is not dated.
