Report of the Maine commissioners appointed to review and determine the state and condition of the banks in Maine. Included are condensed statements of the condition of the banks and information on officers, etc., abstracts from the returns of the directors of the banks, and an appendix containing the list of banks which had been allowed to increase their capital stock.

An order of transmittal (page [1]) is addressed to the Senate and House of Representatives, and is signed by Edward Kent. It is dated February 5, 1838. An order for printing for the House of Representatives (first unnumbered page) is signed George C. Getchell, Clerk.
