Report of the Michigan Senate Committee on Incorporations, "to whom was referred a bill to amend certain sections of an act to amend and Consolidate the act to incorporate the stockholders of the Michigan Insurance Company of Detroit, and the several acts amendatory thereto." (Page 1). The report indicates that the Committee is reporting back without action as members believe that required processes laid out in the Michigan Constitution for changes to charters were not followed. The report includes a discussion of relevant sections of the Michigan Constitution. The report is signed by Enos Goodrich, Chairman.
