Message from Michigan Governor Blair to the Michigan Legislature about specifications for a new capitol building, a St. Mary's Falls Ship Canal Company request for remission of certain taxes, taxes levied in Crawford County in 1861, a Grand Rapids and Indiana Railroad Company request for a time extension to comply with some laws, an infantry company in Van Buren County which joined a New York regiment, a request to pay Mrs. I. W. Ingersoll for expenses incurred while helping prisoners in Charleston, and a bill related to real estate levies. The message includes a document with title "Specifications for a building to be added to state offices, &c." The message is dated January 9th, 1862.
