Ordered, that the report of the Treasurer, made to the Senate on the 31st of January last, together with his annual report, be referred to a committee of this board, vis. Messrs. Savage, Burnell and Fowler, with instructions to report on the state of the treasury, on the first days of January, from 1826 to the present time, and also the receipts and expenditures of each year, from and after the day abovementioned. Also, to report a statement of the probable receipts and expenditures of the present year, and the probable state of the treasury on the first day of January next. Paul Willard, clerk.
