Convention of the Commissioners of the States of New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island & Providence Plantations, Connecticut, and New York, held at Hartford. Present: John Taylor Gilman, Thomas Cushing, Azor Orne, George Partridge, William Bradford, Eliphalet Dyer, William Williams, John Sloss Hobart, Egbert Benson. Convention resolutions concern the raising of troops for the Continental Army, with an Act detailing the specifics of recruitment. The President to send a letter to the Executives of New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island and Providence Plantations to raise troops by the method of New York and Connecticut. Also resolutions concerning supplies for the army, and debts.
