Note
Communication from Rufus McIntire, president of the York County Agricultural Society, to the Maine Senate and House of Representatives. Included are resolves of the society that note the importance of agriculture and the need for aid to further develop agricultural resources in the state, including education, and the establishment of a department of agriculture and an agricultural school. The resolutions were adopted by the society at its annual meeting held February 11th, 1852.
