Report of the Maine Joint Standing Committee on the Library, signed at end by E.O. Bean, Chairman; and resolves entitled "Resolve in favor of the Maine Historical Society." The resolve indicates "that there be appropriated and paid out of the treasury, to the treasurer of the Maine Historical Society ... the sum of three hundred dollars, to be expended by said society in collecting and obtaining copies of records relating to the early history of Pemaquid and Sheepscot, now deposited in the archives of the State of New York."
