"Resolved, That the land agent ... be and he is hereby directed to make sale, as soon as may be, of the timber and lumber set apart in the resolve approved March twenty-third, eighteen hundred and sixty-four, being chapter three hundred and thirty-nine of the resolves of that year, for a sum not less than nine thousand dollars, the purchaser to have the right to take off said timber and lumber whenever he may choose; and the proceeds of said sale shall be paid into the state treasury for the benefit of the academies aforesaid."--Page [1]-2.
