The report includes attachments showing financial information (including expenditures and indebtedness, costs, and income and prospects) and lengths of the railroad. Following the report and attachments is: "An act to authorize certain cities and towns to grant aid in the construction and completion of the Kennebec and Portland Railroad" (pages [11]-26). The bill authorizes the following towns to provide credit to the Kennebec and Portland Railroad Company: Augusta, Gardiner, Bath, Hallowell, Richmond, Bowdoinham, Topsham, and Brunswick.
