Includes a list of the swamp lands in the District No. 2, work completed and in process, sales of lands, and more. Lafayette Caldwell, Engineer, notes that instruments are needed for proper surveys and requests permission to purchase them.

Last page contains letter to L. Caldwell from John Lobdell of West Baton Rouge Parish, requesting a levee be built at his plantation.
