"The translation is that provided by the Press Service of the Presidency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, www.press-service.uz, as compared to that provided by the official Government web portal www.gov.uz, that provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, www.mfa.uz and by the Council of Ministers, www.sovminrk.gov.uz [all consulted November 2013]. As the texts are not in complete agreement, some adjustments have been made concerning certain omissions, certain duplication of Articles, and adjustments of the translation of Art. 83 to reflect the amending law of 24 April 2003, and some changes for uniformity of capitalization of certain terms. Into this base translation new translation of Arts. 77, 78, 80, 89, 93, 96 and 102 was inserted to correspond with the Russian texts of the amending laws of 2007, 2008 and 2011, and the consolidation was based on the Russian text as provided by the Center of Legal Information of the Ministry of Justice, www.lex.uz [consulted November 2013]. Certain typographical features of this text have also been incorporated here."--Title page verso.
