The schedules for geography and anthropology were prepared in 1904-5 by Mr. W.D. Johnston, Mr. C.K. Jones, and Mr. J.C. Bay, while the schedule for sports and games was made by Mr. S.C. Stuntz ... Folk-lore (GR) and manners and customs (GT) printed as separate schedules will later be incorporated. Mr. C.W. Perley has had charge of the classification of geography and anthropology since April 1905, and of the classification of sports and games since November 1908. He has also prepared all the schemes for printing. Mr. Charles Martel, chief classifier, has had general supervision of the work from its beginning. See Prefatory note (signed: Clarence W. Perley, acting chief classifier).
