Summary
An treatise on the Remonstance of Peter Walsh, and on Redmond (or Raymond) Caron's defense of that work, in which he repudiated papal infallibility and church interference in public affairs. Macedo wrote this Virga censoria while he was professor of moral theology at Padua, a position he held from 1667 until his death in 1681.
