Law wives course for 1969: Law generally with stress on its impact on the family.
1 volume (paging varies)
Compiled by Richard R. Powell. "This collection of preliminary readings for the use of the Law Wives represents a combined effort on the part of many of the Hastings Faculty and of outside scholars to make available material in relatively brief form, which will provide a background for the twelve lectures. It totals a trifle over 400 pages, thus averaging about 34 pages for each lecture. It is hoped that the ladies will do their best to have read the segment for each lecture *before* the lecture is given. [emphasis in the original] This production of a book for the sole use of this group has involved considerable expense. Benjamin McClinton, a third year student, spent many hours on the job. The expense for his services, and a considerable part of the costs for duplication and binding have been covered by the Administration of the Schoo. There still remains (a) the balance of the duplication costs and (b) the typing of the 400 pages which will hopefully be paid by the $10 charged each lady for her copy. Those attending the course in other years will remember a materials' cost ranging from $14-22.50. Hoping that not only the wives but their husbands as well will profit from this offering, For the Faculty, Richard R. Powell. 31 October 1968." --Preface.
