Summary
An opinion written for the Charles-Joseph Lamoral, the seventh prince of Ligne, for a conflict between him and the abbey of Corbie, specifically concerning the applicability of a judgement made elsewhere in France: "Le counsel soussigné qui a vu toutes les piéces et mémoires de l'jnstance qui est pendante au conseil de sa majesté entre Mr. le prince de Ligne et les abbé et religieux de Corbie ... question de droit publique sur l'execution qui les jugemens rendus in pays etranger peut auoir en France." (fol 1r). The case was heard in Paris on the 16th of October 1776.
