Summary
This is the second volume of a three-volume treatise on international criminal law (ICL). This second volume completes the substantive part of ICL, dealing with the Crimes ('Special Part') as well as the law of concours (concursus delictorum) and sentencing. The present volume offers a comprehensive analysis of the international core crimes: genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and aggression, and relevant treaty crimes. Lastly, the law of concours and sentencing is analysed and a proposal for a more consistent sentencing regime for the ICC is set out.
