William Sneyd, defendant, for cohabiting with Mrs. Cecil, in which the jury gave one thousand pounds damages : the second between Hooker Barttelot, Esq., plaintiff, and Samuel Hawker, Esq., defendant, for cohabiting with Mrs. Barttelot, in which the jury gave seven hundred pounds damages / both these interesting trials were taken in short-hand by a Student of the Inner Temple.
