Summary
Manuscript copy of De ambigue prolatis in judicium criminationibus consultationes physico-medicae nonnullae, which was published in Bologna in 1742. It includes four chapters on infanticide written between 1712 and 1739. Chapters one, three, and four are atttributed to Mattaeus Bazzani; chapter two is attributed to Ioseph Pozzi Iacobi. Manuscript title page also includes publishing details, "Bononiae MDCCXLII. Ex typographia D. Thomae Aquinatis, superiorum permissu," which appear to have been transcribed from the title page of the 1742 edition

Matteo Bazzani, born in April 1674, was a physician who taught anatomy and medicine at the Università di Bologna from 1698 until his death in 1749.
Giuseppe d'Ippolito Pózzi, born in 1697 in Bologna, was a physician and lecturer of anatomy, as well as a poet. He died in 1752.
