Note
Title from title page, leaf A1r; imprint from ISTC.
With a second title page, leaf a1r: Tractatus inparrochiale curato[rum]. Consists of a single line of type above a full-page woodcut of the Virgin and Child; at left, a preacher with speech banner "Hec est Stella maris". The woodcut, probably by Michel Wohlgemut, was printed in Creussner's edition of Bernardinus' Sermones de festivitatibus virginis gloriosae (1493, ISTC ib00351000) and belongs to that text; the present book was presumably printed in that year or later.
Collation: 4to: A⁸ B⁶, a-b⁸ c⁶ d-t⁸ [$4 (-Bac4) signed; missigning r2 as q2]; 164 leaves, unnumbered.
Large (135 mm) decorative woodcut initial I on leaf a2r.
Incorrect headlines on leaves a7v, a8, d7, d8, r3v, and r6r; slips of printed corrections have been pasted over the headlines in some copies.
