Woodcuts of a scholar writing in his study (t.p.), and Crucifixion with Saints Mary and John (t.p. verso). T.p. borders (and on A2a), initials. T.p. in red and black. Double columns.
Lib. copy defective: tears in some leaves repaired, with slight loss of text. Binding: modern dark brown morocco, gold-tooled and -stamped on back, covers, and edges, with inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, and gilt page-edges.
