Translated into English from a Russian translation of the Mongolian code, and annotated by Ferdinand D. Lessing, Dilowa Gegen Hutukhtu, John Hangin. From the original: "The second wording of the translation of the Barayyun Kyrij-e Script of the Khalkha Zirum Code restored according to the Script No. 196 IV AN [of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences in the U.S.S.R], etc., was finished on June 10, 1935. The present translation is to be supplemented with those articles which are in the Urga Script (i.e. Index, etc.) and with some regulations from the Script No. 196.
