Minority report of the Joint Select Committee, following the Governor's message as it related to capital punishment, and presented to the Connecticut General Assembly during the May session, 1853. This was a renewal of the governor's request for abolishing the death penalty; this minority report was against this request and the bill attach in the Committee's report.
