The National Socialist Disciplinary Amnesty of 23 June 1933 ("Gesetz über die Aufhebung der im Kampf für die nationale Erhebung erlittenen Dienststrafen und sonstigen Maßregelungen") determined the full rehabilitation of such officials who, prior to 1933, were subjected to disciplinary sanctions or other measures due to their opposition to the Weimar Republic on the basis of their National Socialist sympathies. With the adoption of this amnesty, the National Socialists clarified that a new era had also begun for the civil service. Nadja Krüll examines this legislation in theory and in its application.
