Lawes of Virginia now in force, printed in London in 1662 which were collected out of the General Assembly records and digested by Francis Moryson. Of note, some editions contained an additional preface, which indicated that this law primarily dealt with the control of the tobacco trade, although the table of contents demonstrated that there were many other laws listed.

"Moryson, acting governor, and Henry Randolph, clerk of the House of Burgesses, prepared the above revisal under an order of the General Assembly."--Sabin 100380.
The first leaf bears royal arms on recto and imprimatur on verso: September 3d. 1662. Imprimatur, Jo. Berkenhead.
"The title and number of the acts, in order as they are printed": 4 pages at end.
