Summary
An address by Archibald Maclaine to the people of North Carolina regarding the charges against the judges in the last Assembly, and protest in the house. In addition, various bills regarding the impeachment of judges was attached, as well as a committee report of January 1, 1787 regarding judges of the Superior Courts; and, dissenting responses supporting the judges. Also attached were legal documents, and various letters, including several by Judge Samuel Ashe.
