Settlement, or 'cedule', entered at the royal court at Laon on November 25, 1406 between the abbey of Saint-Vincent in Laon and Jehan the Seneschal resident in Laon over land in Monampteuil. Dated "Ce fu fait lan mil quatrecens [et] six vint sept jours au mois de nouembre." Notarial signature and seal on verso. Slits and remnants of stitching at foot of document. Note dated 1609 in ink and "Laon" in pencil in left margin. Additional notes on verso. Three small holes and some staining with some loss of text.
