Summary
Gilles Chastellan, keeper of the seal for the Duchess of Orléans, records that Gerart Quatre of Bourneville came before Richard Paine, tabellion, and promised to pay an annual cens for property in Bourneville. Signed R. Paine in second hand. Four small holes at lower left and slits for seal at foot of document. "1408" in pencil at head of document. Notes on verso. Staining and hole at lines 13-14 with some loss of text.
